Country Kitchen

The kitchen was the runner up in the 'First time entrant' award at the Kitchen Studio Awards 2020.

This country kitchen was all about the details and making something that would stand the test of time. The renovation of the living and kitchen area of this home was life changing to this young family. Opening up the space and making it one big area where the family could live everyday with their young children and entertain with groups of friends.

They wanted the kitchen to be beautiful and work with the rest of the home but also be incredibly practical, toe kick drawers, spice pulls, built in rubbish bins and multiple Blum Drawers make it an easy kitchen to work from.

We wanted to take a traditional 'country kitchen' and modernise it but still keep all the charm and warm hominess that country kitchens are all about. This kitchen is such a stunner and one of my favourite projects I have ever had the privilege of being involved with.
