My client came to me 3 years ago with an image of a navy blue kitchen island from a magazine and very little ideas of what she wanted to create in the kitchen space.

The home is over 100 years old & the last kitchen was built in the early 60s and had little practical storage and bench space. The home is rural, my client lives alone and wanted a country-looking space that she could work in on her own, but was still able to entertain & for it to work as a family kitchen if that happened. I was given full creative license in the kitchen space and she was open to me taking down walls or flipping the kitchen layout completely. I was also employed to specify all wall colors, flooring, and accent lighting, I also designed this home’s bathroom as well.
